Nightwing is determined to atone for his failure to stop Tarantula killing Blockbuster, and despite his injuries, he tracks her down and brings her in, also turning himself (as Dick Grayson) in as an accomplice to the crime. He is surprised to discover that the detectives do not take this seriously, and he finds that Amy Rohrbach has told them that he was undercover at the time, and thus he will serve no time for what he did. He is angry, as he wanted to be able to atone properly, but Amy thinks that his atonement should be in the form of action. Before long, he has disappeared.
