PLOT:
Everything is completely out of control. Liberty Hill is ablaze, social and racial tension is through the roof and citizens are rioting in the streets. And at the center of it all is one man, Mark Richards who may have just lost it all. He's lost his family. He's lost his city. And now he's lost control over his powers. Two of his tattoo warriors have taken on a will and life of their own. One wants to love him at any cost (even if it means killing his wife) and the other wants to protect him at any cost (even if it means killing the other tattoo demon). And it's all thanks to a mysterious "Mr. S" who set this all in motion.

His whole life, including his time in the service, he thought to himself that he could never be as great of a warrior or hero as his late brother Devon. But now, in his moment of truth, he's finding that the city he's tasked with saving, might not want to be saved. In-fighting and violence blankets the streets. The two rival gangs the Ded Boyz and the Avenue Reds have declared war. And a supposed peace summit between the two at the Liberty Hills Elementary school turns bloody when Crim$o, the leader of the Reds turns pulls a gun at the truce meeeting and blows away Twisttedd the head of the Ded Boyz! There's so much violence and bloodshed that a frantic Kim Tanaka and her news crew can only hope to report on the cascading violence in whatever bouts she can.

The police of course are doing nothing to help. Halstead and McAllen release Leon on account of the fact that they're now targeting his father. The only thing saving Leon from the rabid wolves waiting for him outside is Altera. She has apparently resigned herself to looking after her love's best interests, protecting him from the Ded Boyz who want him to pay for his transgressions in blood. But no one is there to protect Mark when the Liberty Hill police force arrive in full meta-artillery gear. Surrounded, Mark prepares to give it his best fight when suddenly his entire body begins to writh in pain. Sweat drains from every pour and before he knows it his world goes black.

When he wakes up he finds himself at the command center of his every trouble. He's now in the presence of the one and only "Mr. S." But nothing can prepare him for the shock of who Mr. S is. His eyes focus on the man sitting in front of him. A man going by the name of "SYNcK." A man once known as Devon Richards, the late hero brother of Mark Richards. And if Mark Richards though that things were out of control before, he didn't know the half of it!
