PLOT:
Despite the fact that they saved the world (once again) the Super Young Team somehow failed to generate any publicity for their actions. People still think of them as mere anime characters - not the flesh and blood real life action heroes they are. But forget Las Vulgar. That's old news. The real happening place now is Dubai - "the new mecca of pop trash culture." There Hanover and the Powers that Be have arranged a very special Super Young Team Fanfest Extravaganza at the brand spanking new Dubai Entertainment City Celebration Center.

The media blackout regarding Japan's state of affairs continues to trouble Superbat. But with so many cameras and impressionable young fans, how is Heino supposed to finally rise above it all and claim the ultimate hero mantle as Ultimon-Alpha believes he can?

The convention floor alone is enough to make each team member's head spin. With scores of fans dressed up for the cosplay portion of the convention, certain members break off from the group and try to fulfill their fantasies with the specially costumed fan of their choice. Shiny Happy Aquazon runs off with a fan dressed as Lightning Flash. Big Atomic Lantern makes his way towards the bathroom with an Aquazon impersonator. And even Most Excellent Superbat finds time alone with his own favorite fan... a young girl dressed up as himself.

But the love-fest grinds to a complete halt when another group of unknowns crash the convention looking for their spotlight. It seems the Powers that Be have arranged for the P.T.A. - The Parasitic Teutons of Assimilation, a German group of baddies all dressed up like tennis coaches to make their presence known at the Fan Convention. The PTA, capable of absorbing the meta-abilities of whomever they come across and using them against them, nearly hand the Super Young Team a humiliating defeat at their own Fan Expo. But the day is saved when the sole Shy Crazy Lolita Canary fan (who happens to be an obese man in his mid-thirties) arrives dressed up as the heroine and delivers a well deserved punch to the face of the PTA leader.

Staring out at the aftermath, the Super Young Team realize that while they may have not been defeated, the humiliation still stings. At least for Aquazon. She's had enough. She's so over Lightning Flash now and seeing Atomic Lantern Boy alongside that mockery makes her lose respect for him as well. She quits the team and wants out.

While this may seem like a bad thing - to Justin Hanover it's a great publicity tool! He and the rest of the team decide that it's perfect. What better way to gain some attention than by having a comeback? And you can't have a comeback without the messy break-up! So the team all decide to call it quits and go their separate ways. Hanover tries to call the Powers but no one is answering. The reason? Rising Sun finally made his way to America to confront the suits over what is going on. But the meeting is anything but cordial. It seems Rising Sun has made his own partnership with someone even more powerful than they... and he has his own plans for "maximizing" his resources.
