Black Lantern Cliff Steele; Black Lantern Celsius (Arani Desai); Black Lantern Negative Woman (Valentina Vostok);
Black Lantern Tempest (Joshua Clay); Rocky Davis; Doctor Tyme (Pervical Sutter)
PLOT:
Oolong Island, once home to the devious minds that concocted the deadly Four Horsemen has recently been re-fit for a different purpose. As a resort colony, dozens and dozens of tourists
flock to the island, bedecked in floral print shirts and flipflops, looking to unwind. And it's at one of Oolong Island's little tiki bars that a meeting is taking place between Doctor Tyme (the Doom Patrol's self-purported greatest nemesis) and
Rocky Davis of the Challengers of the Unknown. He knows that the Doom Patrol also resides on the Island and he wants them to know that he know longer bears them any grudge. He looks to Rocky to establish some sort of truce between the two of them (presuming one
even needed to be made). But that might have to wait for now because a sudden blast of alert sirens announce that the entire Island is on lockdown. Something (or more specifically someones) have attacked Caulder's Bungalow Row.
From his inner-sanctuary, Caulder has already received the Flash's alert about the Black Lantern presence on Earth. But last ditch efforts to save humanity are nothing but old hat to the wheelchair bound master
manipulator. He sighs a contemptuous sigh and prepares to disregard the situation all together when his concentration is disturbed by the sound of a familiar voice. It's his ex-wife (and sometime personal pet science
experiment) Arani Desai aka Celsius. Yet as shocking as her post-mortem arrival may be, his heart still glows a constant shade of orange. His greed is
surpassed by perhaps no other and now his former love is prepared to take his greed filled heart
from his chest. But not before she freezes and shatters his two legs!
You see, after Caulder's first Doom Patrol iteration was assumed dead, Arani inherited the team and re-cast it in her own image. Now the undead members of her team are attacking Oolong Island looking for vengeance. When Tempest, once the team's medic, comes across
Elasti-Woman, she's enraged over some recent betrayal by Caulder that took place during the team's last outing. Tempest, emerging from the shadows, uses his weather manipulation powers to attack the adaptable super woman. As Rita grows to super-size, one must wonder - if a regular heart
can help power the Black Lantern battery, what about the heart of a giant??
Meanwhile, Robotman, once known as the race car driver Cliff Steele is preparing to be moved into his newest body. It would almost seem as though the hero has lived through as many incarnations as the team itself.
Negative Man helps him into his newest incarnation before following him out back where Cliff keeps the mass "grave" of his former bodies. But to Cliff's complete and utter shock he suddenly finds himself face to face with the one body he never
thought he'd see again - his own!
The body of the original Cliff Steele, insides all scooped out and bashed in, has been re-born as a Black Lantern - and he wants to wipe this "mannequin man" imposter off the map. Negative Man would surely help his teammate if it weren't for the fact that
he himself is facing off with his own Doom Patrol replacement teammate, Valenina Vostok aka Negative Woman!

CHARACTERS:
Doc William Magnus; Tin; Mercury; Professor Miklos Rumpus; Dean Schlemmer
PLOT:
A Bialyan Professor named Miklos Rumpus looks to surpass the artificial life creation work of Dr. Magnus but before he can do so his funding is pulled out from under him and he's
fired from the University. While he sulks off to nurse his wounds he fails to realize that his creations - three female mannequin
life forms have already secretly come to life. And like any "superior"
life form, they want to take over the world. Well, kinda. It seems the 'Clique' were created a little too
perfectly. Based upon the input of actual female students, their personalities are so realistic that within moments of
coming to life they've begun bickering amongst themselves.
So, while they table the discussion over whether or not to conquer the world, the girls decide to go
shopping at the mall. It just so happens that Doc Magnus is going to the same mall with Tin and Mercury to look for a present for his own
all-too-realistic female artificial life form Platinum (who now insists on being called 'Tina').
When a mall security guard goes flying out the window, Tin springs into action. But is the Clique too much for him to handle?
