PLOT:
Batman goes to Arkham Asylum to get Hush's location out of Scarecrow by any means necessary. After a harsh round of brutal nterrogation, Crane confesses that Hush has holed up at Sacred Heart - the hospital where Tommy Elliott eventually put his senile mother in before she died. Batman leaves Arkham and speeds towards the run-down hospital. Along the way he places a call to check on Selina.

Mr. Terrific and Doctor Mid-Nite both confess to being unable to conclusively identify the technology keeping Selina alive. Whether the technology comes from Lex Luthor or Apokolips, one thing is for sure that Hush has certainly had help in concocting this plan. Bruce also surmises that if Hush senses that Batman is coming for him with any backup he will most certainly trigger a hidden kill switch and shut off the machinery.

Anticipating Batman's arrival, the security has been placed on high alert at Sacred Heart but of course Bruce is able to slip through the defenses and sneak up on Hush. The two duke it out while Hush reveals how he managed to survive his last battle with Joker and remove the pacemaker from his own chest.

Tommy takes Bruce to see Selina's heart kept encased in a piece of cryogenic life support equipment designed by Mr. Freeze himself. While standing in front of Catwoman's frozen heart, Bruce begins to feel a sense of light headedness brought on by a neuro-toxin in the air inside the room and collapses. Hush had managed to expose Bruce to the other half of the paralyzing compound during his rescue of the little boy earlier in the night.

Bruce stares up from the ground at a horrifying sight as Tommy begins unraveling the bandages on his face. Removing the Joker's pacemaker wasn't the only surgery Tommy had performed on himself. Through countless procedures, Tommy reveals that he has re-built his facial structure to look exactly like Bruce's. While he theorizes that it won't be enough to completely convince everyone in Bruce's life, it will certainly get him close enough to kill Alfred and the rest of the Bat-Family while he publicly dismantles Bruce Wayne's perfect life.
