PLOT:
Bruce and Tim find themselves once again confronting their worst fears as they do battle with Scarecrow. The past year away seems to have made them stronger however and Batman and Robin easily dispatch their own personal harbingers of fear. As a matter of fact, Batman doesn't even pause in his conversation with Jim Gordon about the new evidence clearing Dent's name. Even though it was the same barrel of Two-Face's old gun which killed the villains, the handle had been switched out. Harvey Dent has been set up!

Batman and Robin race to Gotham PD Headquarters to discuss the case further with Gordon. Along the way, Batman tells Tim that he needs to speak to him about something very important concerning his future. The matter will have to be tabled however until Harvey Dent is located.

Once the two arrive at police HQ, Batman once again reveals just how much he's grown in the past year. He apologizes for not making enough time to properly greet Officer Harper the other night on the roof during Poison Ivy's attack. Harper it seems is the grand-daughter of Jim Harper, the original Guardian. Officer Harper promises that it's a heritage of good honest public service she wants to keep up.

Gordon calls Batman into the other room. Jack Ryder just broke in with an urgent news piece - Two Face has Returned!

Using his cane to take Tally Man's legs out from underneath him at the last moment, Jason Bard avoids the bullet aimed directly at his head. He puts a round in Tally Man's shoulder and then breaks his jaw with a vicious kick to the face. He sits down to phone the police to let them know that he just located the mysterious killer but is speechless when Jack Ryder's news brief breaks in.
