When a group of alien-looking robots begin looting the town, J’onn J’onzz attempts to stop them. Zook is able to save J’onn, but the robots get away with the loot.
Diane Meade, having seen Dowd in the crowd, follows the crook back to his island hide-out. She is captured, and Dowd sends the robots out for another job. When they return, J’onn is disguised as one of the robots. He takes the control device from Dowd and smashes it. This allows him to stop the robots, capture Dowd, and rescue Diane.
