PLOT:
Batman and Robin encounter a costumed thief with super-strength, Star-Man. The crook is searching for a magic belt, which has been purchased by Kathy Kane. The belt is one of three mystical pieces; Star-Man possesses one which gives him super-strength and steals another which allows him to defy gravity.

Kathy wears the belt and it weakens her, endangering her life. However when she wears it in Star-Man’s presence the crook’s powers are nullified. Kathy as Batwoman assists Batman in stopping the crook. The belt is then added to the other components, curing Kathy. She and Batman both decide that the belt is too dangerous and should be destroyed.

PLOT:
John Jones is approached by some men from Harovia. It seems that John resembles the missing prince from their country. John can’t explain his past because he was on Mars when the prince disappeared, so they take him back to their country to be crowned king.

John is attacked several times by agents of Baron Brujo, a tyrant leader. He finds the real prince, who is in hiding because of Brujo. Then he convinces the prince to fight Brujo. John secretly assists the prince as the Martian Manhunter. After the prince defeats his enemy, John returns home.
