PLOT:
A crystal creature rises from an atomic dumping ground. The creature uses a green ray to consume metal. Batman warns the citizens of Gotham as it approaches the city. Crooks create a fake creature, that allows them to steal gold and silver, but Batman exposes their scheme. Batman then lures the real creature into the open. He uses sonic vibrations to shatter the creature, ending the threat.

PLOT:
John Jones is responsible for crook Willie Harper getting convicted. Harper swears revenge, so Captain Harding assigns patrolman Mike Hanson to protect Jones.

When Harper's gang attacks Jones, Hanson tries to protect him. Jones acts invisibly as the Martian Manhunter to help Hanson. Working together the two men avoid the gang's traps. Hanson then charges in to capture the gang without knowing that the Manhunter is secretly helping him.
