PLOT:
Batman is bathed in the energy of a comet. As a result he begins to glow and gains super-strength. Scientists theorize that Batman will die when the glow fades out.

While they search for Professor Blake, a scientist possessing a cure, Batman uses his powers to fight crime. Eventually Batman learns that Blake has been kidnapped by mobsters. He fakes his own death, so the crooks will lead him to Blake. Then he takes out the crooks, and Blake cures him of the deadly glow.

TITLE: The Mixed-Up Martian Powers

PLOT:
Detective John Jones and officer Slade pursue a thief to Apex Studios. While trailing the thief, a meteor lands nearby which causes J'onn's powers to malfunction. When he tries to turn invisible, he glows brightly. His other powers are similarly affected. Fortunately, the studio employees think he is an actor in costume. The meteor soon burns itself out, and J'onn's powers return to normal. Officer Slade captures the thief.
