Batman and Robin pursue Lynns in the Batmobile. After Lynns crashes, though injured he escapes into the woods. Batman and Robin are thrown off the trail by the light of a firefly. Lynns decides to use the firefly as his inspiration for future crimes.
Dressed in an elaborate costume with light altering gadgets, Lynns begins a series of crimes as the Firefly. Batman and Robin tangle with him several times. Firefly finally captures them inside a lighthouse, but Batman signals for help using the beacon. Batman then uses his own light effects to blind the gang and apprehend them.
