CHARACTERS:
Roy Raymond; Karen Duncan
PLOT:
During his travels searching for "impossible but true" stories, Roy Raymond encounters a dying man who passes him a cursed ruby. Roy finds that the ruby is a worthless fake, so he brings it back to America for his show. Crooks then raid the set, seeking to steal the ruby. When the robbery fails, one of the crooks is accidentally killed, which seems to validate the curse.
After the crooks try to kill Roy again, he examines the ruby a second time. This time he discovers that the ruby is hollow. Inside are precious pearls which he unknowingly helped smuggle into the country. Roy sets a trap for the smugglers when they try to take back the ruby. This time the crooks are apprehended.

The crooks nearly escape, but Robotman reads their minds again to learn their location. Robotman then shields his head and captures the crooks.
