PLOT:
As a guard at the Hickory Crest Sanitorium, criminal Wiley Derek meets several of the patients. Disguising himself as Lafayette, Derek tricks three of the patients into escaping. The three patients believe they are George Washington, Ben Franklin, and Abe Lincoln. Derek then manipulates them into committing crimes.

Batman is called in to assist on the case. He lures Franklin out of hiding and convinces the trio of the truth. Then he apprehends Derek and returns the patients to Hickory Crest.


TITLE: Danger – Crooks at Work

PLOT:
Crooks, posing as street repairmen, dig a ditch in the road preventing police from pursuing their gang. When a reward is offered for their capture, Slam and Shorty track them down. Then in order to capture the rest of the gang Slam and Shorty take the crooks' places digging another ditch. A patrolman mistakes Slam and Shorty for the real crooks, allowing the gang to escape. The patrolman and the detectives escape from a trap, then pursue the crooks. Working together they round up the gang and split the reward three ways.

TITLE: The Talking Dog

PLOT:
Larry Jordan visits the circus with his nephew Jerry. He spots a pickpocket and slips away from Jerry to become Air Wave. The pickpocket eludes capture when Air Wave runs into a group of circus performers. Air Wave tracks the thief to the tent of Roscoe the Talking Dog, a sideshow act. The pickpocket and his partner capture Air Wave, but a chimp helps the hero escape. Air Wave then pursues the thieves, using radio waves to make animals appear to talk. Once the crooks are apprehended, Larry returns to his nephew to enjoy the show.

TITLE: The Runaway Robot

CHARACTERS: Boy Commandos; Andre Chavard; Brooklyn; Alfy Twidgett

PLOT:
Genius Professor Peer creates a robot computer. A crook named Krug kills Peer and modifies the robot for his own purposes. The robot becomes sentient and turns on Krug, killing him. The robot then runs through town creating a panic. The Boy Commandos catch the robot a couple of times, but it continues to escape. Eventually the robot climbs a tall building. When the Commandos attack it with planes, the robot grabs hold of one. Rip shakes it loose, causing the robot to fall to the streets below where it is smashed beyond repair.
