PLOT:
Batman and Robin witness mob boss Biff Bannister run down jeweler Henry Corliss in the street. Corliss survives, but later tries to rob his own store. Batman stops him, and when he sees another accident happen to stockbroker John Kling, he follows Kling back to Bannister.
Dr. Goodwin who treated both men has hypnotized them into robbing their own businesses. Batman and Robin break in on the gang, but Batman is knocked out. Goodwin hypnotizes Batman, but he breaks the spell. Still the crooks nearly kill the crimefighters, but the timely arrival of Alfred catches the crooks off guard, allowing them to be defeated.
NOTE:
This story introduces a new slim look to the previously rotund Alfred.

PLOT:
Lee Travis receives a tip from police that gangster Bells Tinkler will soon be apprehended. He sends Al Spargo, a reporter, to cover the story, then follows as the Crimson Avenger. When he arrives, Tinkler is prepared for the police having been tipped off about the raid. The Crimson Avenger is able to save the cops, but Tinkler and his gang escape.
The Crimson Avenger suspects Spargo has been working with Tinkler and tipped him off about the raid. He plans another trap, when he realizes that the phone of Lee Travis has been tapped. He follows a man he thinks is Spargo to the crooks and apprehends them. Then he learns that the spy was not Spargo, but a recently hired employee named Blivins.

PLOT:
While attending a model airplane race with his nephew, Larry Jordan spots gangster Flash McClain stealing one of the planes. As Air Wave, Jordan follows the plane, which McClain plans to use to set a diversionary fire. Air Wave prevents the fire, then stops McClain's gang in the act of a robbery. Once the crooks are apprehended, Jordan returns the stolen plane to its rightful owner.
