PLOT:
Slam and Shorty are approached by artist Pierre D'orsay to be live models. After their first session, Slam discovers that Pierre and his fellow artists are members of a cult. They want to draw Slam in a variety of death scenes. The artists place the detectives in a series of death traps from which they barely escape. The artists then capture their expressions. Slam and Shorty eventually overcome the artists and turn them over to police.

PLOT:
A gang of jewel thieves rob a jewelry store. One of the gang is disguised as the Crimson Avenger. He murders a cop to frame the Crimson and divert attention from the gang. The real Crimson Avenger tracks down the gang and tricks some of them into thinking that he is the phony. Then he finds a clue that leads him to the rest of the gang. He apprehends the gang boss, Gip Morgan, and turns the crooks over to police, clearing his name in the process.
