PLOT:
Batman and Robin raid the hideout of a fence involved in a smuggling operation. One of the smugglers shoots his partner to prevent him from talking, then escapes. Batman follows the smuggler to the Crow's Nest where mystery wrtier Reginald Scofield lives. Batman uncovers the smugglers' operations, exposing Scofield's butler as the leader. Scofield then writes a mystery novel based on the events.
