PLOT:
Desaad is contemplating life and death. Darkseid has plans to recreate existence.

Duela, The Joker's Daughter, kidnaps a young, rich singer and plans on holding her for ransom. As she is leaving the bar with the singer she is stopped by Jason Todd, The Red Hood. She claims to be from a neighboring Earth and runs off without the girl.

Mary Marvel wakes up from her coma, no longer having the power of Shazam. Freddy Freeman has paid for her medical bills but has left a note asking her not to try finding him.

Heatwave is hosting a gathering of Flash's rogues. First to arrive is Trickster who claims to have switched back to being a villain. They are being watched by a rat controlled by Pied Piper who is tracking the rogues.

Duela is shot at and assumes it is Red Hood chasing her. However, it is a Monitor. He says the penalty for travelling between Earths is death and kills her. He is attacked by Red Hood but gains the upper hand. He is ready to kill Red Hood as well but is stopped by a second Monitor who claims the first is acting without their group's permission. They leave to discuss this with the others.

Later, a Monitor has travelled to the Source Wall, the barrier separating the different Earths. He asks the Wall about the rising tension and its cause. The Wall writes back 'Great Disaster'. He asks the Wall what the solution is and the Wall writes back 'Ray Palmer'.
