Brother Eye begins its travel across America to Bludhaven, cloaking itself from all detection.

Bob the Monitor guesses that Ray Palmer is in the universe monitored by his brother Monitor that tried to stop the Challengers' mission. This is the only way he could know Palmer was 'living a life of no consequence'.

Jimmy Olsen survived his fall into a firepit on Apokolips by growing a turtle-like shell to protect him. He instinctively tracks down Forager but is attacked by Forager when he releases her from her prison.

Monarch has Batmen from three Earths competing in an arena to see which one will become part of his army. The vampire Batman from the Red Rain Earth wins the competition. Three Green Lanterns are up next for competition. A green light fills Monarch's viewing screens and he doesn't know what it is.

Piper uses his flute to slow down the timer counting down to his handcuffs' detonation. When the train he is on stops at the Mexican border he jumps off, carrying Trickster's body, to avoid the border patrol. He carries Trickster a ways before collapsing in the desert heat.

Mary Marvel is fighting Eclipso with her own gem but is over-powered by Eclipso. Eclipso retrieves her gem and leaves Mary alone in space.
