Back at Slam's apartment, Slam and Selina catch up over some coffee. When Slam asks about Helena Selina decides to tell the truth and confess that she honestly does not know where Slam's granddaughter is now. The conversation is thankfully cut short by the sounds of Dupes waking up. Selina uses the gun she stole from Slam's desk to interrogate the boy as to the whereabouts of "The Thief" - the man who destroyed Selina's life shortly before she was shipped to Salvation Run.

Before Selina's fear tactics can fully pay off, a group of Duplicate Men crash through the door and disarm Selina. Dupes uses the gun to shoot Selina before escaping through the window with his duplicates. He can hardly wait to inform The Thief that Catwoman is dead!

Once the men are gone, Selina surprises Slam by revealing that she isn't injured at all. While she was taking the gun out of Slam's desk, she also loaded it with blanks in hopes that this exact event would happen. Planning to use the fact that the Thief will now think she's dead to her full advantage, Selina sets out to take back her life by going after the man who took it from her!
