Selina and Holly kept their eyes open for the inevitable crime wave to strike the East End (Hush told the underground that it was ripe for the taking). Leslie called - she had a kid who'd been frozen. Expecting it to be Mr. Freeze, Catwoman went after the culprit - it turned out to be Captain Cold. He convinced her he was a part of something bigger and tried to get her to join. Faced with the others on his side, she agreed to join.
A small time criminal calling himself the Smart Bomb was killed in the interrogation room when he attacked the cops with a torch weapon hidden in his gloves. Slam Bradley agreed to work undercover in the Smart Bomb's outfit.
