Black Canary ran into Nightwing while on patrol and helped him out. He asked her about Barbara and later visited the Clocktower. Tom, the man who Dinah was seeing, bumped into his brother, Danko Twag - the man who'd attacked Oracle. Danko, who'd been having blackouts and headaches, remembered being an apprentice to Felix Faust, an early JLA enemy. Tom told him about Barbara. Black Canary returned to the Clocktower to find Barbara out with Dick. Twag, calling himself Felix Faust, was there.
