Barbara was able to trap the intruder. Black Canary broke the spell over Java, revealing him as Rex Mason - Metamorpho. He battled it out with the entity which was made up of his wife, child, and father-in-law (Simon Stagg). They were separated by another energy burst. Twag, the Clocktower intruder, took something and dissolved.
