PLOT:
After examining the data retrieved by Jonn from Jardine Towers, Batman finds that Jardine has found a way to create a completely new lifeform capable of surviving in outer space. He sends the Outsiders, alongside new teammate Oliver Queen, to French Guiana to stop the launch of a shuttle containing Jardine's experiments.

Green Arrow is not thrilled with the prospect of being on the same team as the former leader of the League of Assassins and the two decide to duke it out. While the two resolve their feelings for each other with the knuckles, Batman is accosted by two strangers who claim to have been looking for Batman. Although Batman appears to recognize the two from somewhere, neither individual looks anything remotely like the two people who had previously shown up at Wayne Manor looking for the Bat. Elsewhere, Thunder gets ready for her part of the mission and she will be joined by Remac, who shapeshift into anyone.

Jardine prepares to protect his investment with hired costume mercenaries (including Bat-foes GunHawk and Bunny). When the authorities threaten to stop the launch, a REMAC kills the director and takes his place by assuming his appearance. With the supposed director's approval, the shuttle appears to be ready for launch. But as the Outsiders head towards the spaceport, Gunhawk and Bunny have them in their sights!
