Feeling that someone has returned from the dead, Batman travels to meet with his colleagues Zatanna and Green Arrow. While their relationships are obviously strained, they attempt to help Batman, but are ultimately unable to give him the answers he needs. Back in Gotham, the Black Mask has become fed up with the Red Hood interfering in his affairs and decides he wants Batman to take the Red Hood out for him! Meanwhile, Onyx discovers the Red Hood's operations, prior to her coming face to face with the Red Hood himself!
