Catwoman helped Batman find the Joker's gang (Jokerless). They'd kidnapped a high-ranking gangsters. After they took the gang down, Catwoman asked Batman why he'd taken bullets to save a murderer. He realized after all that Bruce Wayne was not a mask - he was Bruce.
