PLOT:
Gang boss John Varden has eluded Batman, so the Caped Crusader increased his regular patrols of Gotham. An out of town private investigator, Thaddeus Crane, follows Batman and accidentally learns his secret identity. The media learns about Crane's discovery and publicized the detective.
Crane is soon hired for several jobs. Each time he is watched over and helped by Batman. Varden's gang captures Crane and tries to force him to reveal his secret. Crane refuses and summons Batman with a belt-radio. Varden is captured, and Batman's secret is safe because Crane is really Alfred in disguise.

PLOT:
Batman injures his foot while pursuing the Sparkles Grady Mob. Robin fills in for him at the Batman Exposition, where people pay tribute to Gotham's hero. Sparkles and his henchmen attack Robin in order to get the diamonds he is carrying. Using a variety of Batman robots and models, Robin evades, then captures the crooks.

PLOT:
A new species of undersea creature is discovered, and Batman joins the expedition to bring it back alive. One member of the group, Devoe, is sabotaging the mission and trying to kill the creature. Batman stops him and exposes his plan to kill the creature and steal its egg. Devoe planned to keep the egg and become rich as the sole owner of the new species. Batman recovers the egg and takes the creature alive. As a reward, Batman is given the egg to display in the Bat-Cave, knowing it will take a hundred years to hatch.
