PLOT:
Batman and Robin visit a travelling carnival that has set up in Gotham City. They observe the concession vendors cheating the customers, so Batman steps in and begins winning the prizes for the kids. The concession vendors work for the carnival managers Punch and Judy. After Batman's intervention, the vendors quit, so Punch and Judy hire Batman to perform, claiming that proceeds will go to charity.
Batman performs for the carnival, but he suspects that Punch and Judy are planning something dishonest. The pair hire a man, Pete, to rob the box office. Robin interrupts the robbery, but Pete captures him. Pete also attempts to kill Batman. Fortunately, Batman suspected trouble and escapes injury. He captures Pete, frees Robin, and turns Punch and Judy over to the authorities.

PLOT:
Alfred goes undercover at an underworld bar to learn about criminal activities. A gang catches Alfred listening to their conversation, so they capture him. They tie Alfred to a chair and drive him to the country to get rid of him. On the way the truck strikes a rut and crashes. When the police arrive, Alfred tells them that the men are penthouse robbers. He has also overheard them mention their inside help, so Alfred has cracked the case.
