PLOT:
The Joker has miraculously survived his apparent death during his last encounter with Batman. He is taken to a hospital, but Crime Syndicate, Inc., a criminal gang in need of a leader, break him out. They lure the police away by having a Batman impersonator attack them.
Batman and Robin arrive at the hospital and find the Cat-Woman outside. She is planning to steal some jewels, but gives Batman information about the Joker. Batman busts up the Crime Syndicate, while Robin trails Cat-Woman the jewels. Joker also tries to steal the jewels, but is taken out when Batman arrives. Joker is left for dead in a burning building, while Cat-Woman dives into the river from the Bat-Plane to escape capture.

PLOT:
A museum custodian, Adam Lamb, injures his head in a fall causing him to develop a split personality. He assumes the criminal identity of the Wolf every night, but forgets his actions during the day. Batman is wounded in an encounter with the Wolf, but he makes the connection to Lamb. Batman arrives at the museum in time to prevent Wolf from murdering his employer, but the man is killed by another fall.

PLOT:
Harley Storme, a millionaire, is killed by a clubfoot killer. His family is given small pieces of gold with strange inscriptions on them. The killer begins killing family members, despite Batman’s efforts. Finally, Batman learns that the killer is Ward, the family lawyer. He had planned to take the family’s gold pieces which represented their stakes in a gold mine. Batman stops the man, who disguised himself as Clubfoot Beggs, an old enemy of Storme.
