PLOT:
Batman and Robin are invited to attend a meeting of great detectives. The Guest of Honor, Dana Drye, is shot to begin the meeting. The other detectives and Batman join together to solve the mystery of his murder. Batman follows several leads. Eventually he learns that Drye was dying of an incurable disease, and his death was suicide. Drye had also discovered Batman's secret identity. In order to protect his own secret, Batman pretends to fail in his effort to solve the case.

PLOT:
Escaped convict, Pills Mattson, flees from a fight with Batman. Pills hides at a local pharmacy where he and his gang force the pharmacist and a local doctor to help them. Batman enters the store to help wash dust out of his eyes, but he doesn't know that Pills is hiding in the back. After Batman leaves, Pills decides to use the pharmacy as a permanent hide-out, holding a young girl hostage to insure the cooperation of the pharmacist.

Batman eventually deduces where Mattson is hiding. He enters the store, but is quickly captured. Robin goes undercover as a soda boy and helps Batman escape. The pharmacist and his customers also pitch in to defeats Pills. The store is ruined in the fight, but Batman and the happy customers help the pharmacist rebuild.

PLOT:
Rookie cameraman Fred Hopper gets a job with the help of two veterans, Matt Carson and Tom Starr. Hopper is secretly a Nazi spy sent to photograph secret war factories. Hopper, aka Fritz Hoffner, also tries to set up Batman for his assassins. Batman suspects a link between the cameramen and the assassins. He keeps close watch on the factories and soon runs into Hoffner and his men. Batman and Robin escape a death-trap, then track the Nazis to their hide-out. Batman then finishes smashing the spy ring.

PLOT:
The Penguin returns with a scheme of planning crimes for other criminals. After the gangs successfully commit the crimes, Penguin robs and kills them. Batman sets himself as a rival mastermind, "Bad News" Brewster. He leads several crooks into traps for police. Penguin contacts him, but he deduces Batman is really Brewster and sets a trap. Batman and Robin are caught. Robin manages to use Penguin's own umbrellas to escape, then he and Batman apprehend the Penguin.
