SUMMARY:
When word begins circling the globe that Batman has finally met his demise the criminal world rejoices. Unfortunately it seems that no one knows the particulars of his death - the where, the why or more importantly - the who.
Eager to get everything settled out, reputed mob boss Col. Jake "the Claw" Van Cleeve sets up his estate to house a very special "court of crime." The judge is none other than Ra's Al Ghul and the jury consists of Mad Hatter, the Spook, Poison Ivy, the Scarecrow, Signalman, and Mr. Freeze. With everything in place, the court appoints former District Attorney Two-Face to interrogate each of the four most likely suspects to decide who really killed the Dark Knight.
Two-Face pokes holes in the stories of Catwoman, Lex Luthor, the Riddler, and the Joker before revealing himself to actually be Batman in disguise. After taking his nemesis back to Arkham Asylum, Batman confides in Commissioner Gordon that the corpse found was that of a man by the name of Jerry Randall, a bookstore owner and Batman fan, who liked to dress up as Batman and reenact Batman cases after reading about them in the papers.
