During the time when Harvey "Two-Face" Dent had been cured and abandoned his criminal ways, actor Paul Sloane was engaged to play the role of Dent in a movie based on Two-Face's criminal career. During the filming, Sloane was hideously scarred in almost exactly the way Dent was, and in his delirious mind became convinced that he was the real Two-Face. Sloane committed several crimes before apprehended by Batman and Robin. Years later, when the real Two-Face had returned to his criminal career, Dent assigned the Crime Doctor to perform plastic surgery on Sloane, once again transforming him into Two-Face duplicate. Dent was ultimately apprehended by the Batman and Sloane's face was returned to normal.
