Action Figures & Dolls - Action Figures - Movies - Batman Begins - 7 Inch - 2 Ft. Figures - 2ft Batman Review
Batman (31”)
Batman Begins: Mattel, 2005. SKU# H6743
Size does matter, right? Well, then this figure wins hands down. This is the largest commercially available Batman figure that I know of. It dwarfs the other “Ultimate Batman” large-scale Batman figures from past movies, not to mention Action Cape Batman and Battle Gear Batman from the current Batman Begins line.
SPECS:
The figure stands 31 inches tall, 11 ½ inches (at the elbows) wide and has only 6 points of articulation (head, shoulders, waist and hips) and a removable cloth cape.

PROS:
It’s big and bad and ultra cool looking.
CONS:
With that much size it should have had at least 3 times the points of articulation that it does. 6 POA is just horrible for a nicely detailed figure of this size. Toy Biz produced an 18” Spider-man with 67 POA so why could Mattel not make a 31” Batman with at least 14 (adding ankles, wrists, knees and ankles) ? Why does the cape have two ways of connecting to the body? The extra material just bulges up behind the shoulder blades.
OVERALL:
Bigger is not always better. It’s clearly a collector piece as I can’t see kids playing with a figure this large and unposable. If they had put in more POA it would be a better value. While this makes a great centerpiece for any collection, not everyone may want one.
