Una Nemo and Bruce Wayne went out for 6 dates but Bruce refused to go any further the relationship ended. A few weeks later, while on a cruise with her friend, the ship was robbed by gangsters. When her friend was shot, Una fought back, and in returned was shot and fell into the ocean. Una survived (despite a fist-sized hole completely through her head) because she suffered from Dandy-Walker? Syndrome, a condition in which a large part of the brain is physically missing. Traumatized, she became the criminal known as Absence.
