Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism

Anyone who saw Thursday night's Community on NBC was treated to a great episode heavily based around The Dark Knight. After Abed purchases a special edition $299 DVD set of the film, it becomes allegedly stolen from the apartment, forcing him to take matters into his own hands by childishly dressing in a Batman Begins Halloween costume and investigating in character.

The episode, entitled "Foosball and Nocturnal Vigilantism," can be watched on Hulu HERE.
BATMAN BEYOND will come out as individual chapters prior to (and in conjunction with) the collected, 48-page monthly BATMAN BEYOND UNLIMITED print edition.

JUSTICE LEAGUE BEYOND is from the creative team of Dustin Nguyen and Derek Fridolfs, adding Batman (Terry McGinnis) to the team of superheroes to combat a Neo Goath-related enemy. And in BATMAN BEYOND, from Adam Beecham and Norm Breyfogle, McGinnis? and Bruce Wayne face an onslaught of Jokerz – and the return of an old foe.

Batman: The Brave & The Bold Season 2 Part 1

Batman wings into an exciting new era, teaming with a mighty honor roll of DC Comics Super Heroes in this action-packed series. Through the show’s season two 12 Animated Adventures in this 2-Disc Collection, the Dark Knight allies with Aquaman, Plastic Man, Blue Beetle, Red Tornado, Green Arrow, Wildcat, Deadman, Bronze Tiger and Atom to take on an array of evildoers ranging from mad scientists to intergalactic crooks, from power-mad dictators to out-of-control teenagers.

Batman: The Brave & The Bold is a better animated series than some might want to admit. Yes it is a campy Batman, but it’s a serious take on campiness. While you have some episodes like Aquaman’s Outrages adventure! Which is not all that serious, and then you also have episodes like Sidekicks Assemble! The Goldenage of Justice! And The Chill of the Night! That proves just how serious and in some cases dark, that this series can be.

The series does an awesome job of combining Modern Age comics to Silver and Golden age. From modern day Huntress, to Silverage Green Arrow. Even using Earth-2 Robin’s outfit before Dick becomes Nightwing. The three merge together perfectly and proves that everything can co-exist without trying to re-luanch anything to get people interested.

All in all this season improves greatly over the first and it only gets better. It’s a great family show that Batman fans of all ages can enjoy.

All Star Superman Review

All Star Superman Review by: Spencer

File not found.

Grant Morrison & Frank Quietly's acclaimed All-Star? Superman has become the most recent entry in DC's series of animated movies. I got a chance to watch the premiere screening at the Paley Center for Media in New York, which included a roundtable interview with voice director Andrea Romano, writer Dwayne McDuffie?, and voice actor Christina Hendricks (Lois Lane).

For those familiar with the comic, it follows the general story but makes a few omissions for the sake of time constraints. For those who haven't read the story yet: SPOILERS AHEAD.
