Batman: XXX Trailer & Details Hit the Web
Although Dark Knight-sequel news has sorta stalled up lately, we can however report that at least one Batman adaptation will be making its way to small screens sometime soon.
Produced by Vivid Video, Batman XXX: A Porn Parody is making a big splash across comic newssites this morning. The *ahem* film stars Nick "Droppin Loads" Manning (of Howard Stern fame) with appearances by Tori Black, Dave Navarro, Chris Slater, Nicole Ray, Randy Spears and Tori Black.
The only reason why this parody becomes news-worthy is because Bleeding Cool is reporting that producers have actually gone out and hired costume directors who worked on the old 60's television show on which the parody is based. And although the Bat Logo will be replaced with three large X's on the heroes chest, it's clear from watching the SFW trailer (which you can see by clicking 'READ MORE') that the homage does not stop there. Check out the old vintage Bat-mobile! And the use of the original Bat-Cave location!!
Though no one, as of yet, has been able to predict how long exactly Warner Bros. will allow this parody trailer to remain online as the trade-mark usage is pretty heavy (even for an alleged parody). So check it out while you still can - before WB's lawyers step in and ruin all the fun. ;-)
