I've got all of the Batman and Superman episodes on DVD now. I largely just pick and choose the ones that I want to see from the list on the DVR. I really like that they are showing them though.
batgirl wrote:
I want to get all of them on dvd too. I've already got vol 1 and 3 or superman. Superman and Justice League are usually only like $20, but Batman is between $35 and $45. Does anyone know where I can get them cheaper?
BoPRogue wrote:
Whenever I look for something cheaper I go to Ebay. But i'm sure they're discount DVD sites out there.
batgirl wrote:
Yeah I look on ebay all the time for batman stuff. You can get alot of cool stuff there.
Does anyone know if they're going to make any more episodes of Justice League Unlimited? I heard they were ending it, but I refuse to believe it!! Lol
BoPRogue wrote:
Believe it, unfortunately, JLU has ended.

don't fear to much.. rumor has it.. there is a JL Direct to Video feature lenght movie in the works!

Really!? YAY!!!!!!
I wish they would have kept Batman, Superman, and Justice league going instead of doing The Batman and Teen Titans. They are nowhere near as good as the other shows.

The Batman is getting better. Teen Titans was before JL, and was for a younger audience.

I missed most of the 3rd season of The Batman. I don't really like what they did with batgirl. Wasn't Barbara Gordon suppose to be in college when she started out as Batgirl.
Yeah, I guess they've come to some silly conclusion that cartoons are for kids!!

I like the new The Batman show, I like the way how Batman is more Lithe and uses Martial Arts more, whereas in the Bruce Timm cartoons he just hits people.
Was Teen Titans set in the JLU universe or in the The Batman universe? I saw a comic of The Batman once with the Titans on the cover, and they all appeared as they do in the show, yet when the JLU appeared in Static Shock, Static asks Batman where Robin is and he says; "He's with the Titans now.". The main reason that I ask is because he looks and sounds a lot different to the Tim Drake of Batman TAS, and the Dick Grayson is already Nightwing. And also the show has a lot of the same musical influences and Japanisms as The Batman. Been bugging me a bit that's all.
And Batgirl is really irritating. she just comes across as a Carbon Copy of that irritating little girl in the Jackie Chan cartoon done by the same artists.

Oh yeah, the fighting in The Batman is great. I don't think Teen Titan really goes with either. Maybe it's like an inbetween story. I don't think the robin of teen titans is Tim Drake though. I thought Dick was the one who formed the teen titans. They could have made teen titans good if they went with the darker more serious tone of Batman TAS. I loved TAS when I was little and if first came out. I don't think they had to make it different for kids.
I thought you meant me for a second, when you said batgirl was irritating. Lol!!

To answer my own question, Teen Titans was set in the JLU universe. I realise this because, as well as my evidence stated before, i just remembered a JLU episode in which Speedy returns to assist the Green Arrow, and appears exactly as he does in the Titans East episode of TT.
And if this is so, the Robin in TT has to be Tim, because in TNBA Dick is already fully grown and appears as Nightwing. Also the episode of Static Shock I mentioned earlier, is set after an episode in which Tim Drake is featured as Robin.

I was very excited to find BTAS and STAS on Boomerang. I still have DVD sets to buy, so it's great to catch them on every night.

Sorry, But Teen Titans is in its own realm. JLU is connected with several other cartoons, but the anime frenzy that is Teen Titans is not officially apart of it. Sure, a lot of the costumes are similar, but that's only natural. One could just as easily say that both Nightwing and Robin's costumes are different in the "Timmverse," giving evidence that they're separate. I'm not saying you can't identify them together; I'm sure a lot of fans like to associate the two as one "universe," but in actuality, they aren't really.

i wanted to see a batman animated series based on the JLU batman. but i guess TB is good too. cant wait to see the new season!!! actually not the season, but just seeing robin and nightwing (same person?).

What did you find different between the Batman: TAS/NBA and JL/JLU Batmen? I have always just thought it was the same character throughout that era. Sure there were art variations, but the writing and voice work are similar.
