So there'll be a handful of one offs where the helmet goes from person to person, and then Dr. Fate will have a new host.
Ralph Dibny seems obvious considering his connections to the helmet in 52, but who knows where the writers of 52 are taking him.
However I recently got thinkin that maybe the first Aquaman, the one who seems to have dissapeared rather unnoticed, could possibly be the new host. The only clue to what happened to him is that he's host for some kind of super strong power.
It wouldn't be the first time that an old character becomes host for another character. And maybe it'd give him something interesting to do.

This thread refers to the announcement made in THIS NEWSARAMA ARTICLE
I didn't know that Fate's helmet had appeared anywhere outside of 52 recently. I find it pretty interesting that Ralph has yet to put on the helmet. He is just some dude wondering around the world with a floating helmet. Pretty funny if you think about it.

It hasn't appeared, I'm merely guessing that this powerful thing Arthur Curry is host for is the Fate helmet. It'd fit the reveal that there'll be a new Dr. Fate.
Especially since 52 ends in early 2007, which means that if the Fate helmet is still involved in the rest of 52 it wouldn't break their "no 52 stuff outside of 52 until its over" rule.
