He mentioned this at the Wondercon panel. I personaly like the idea. Frank said at the panel that heroes are our symbols, Superman and Captain America both punched out Hitler, why not have Bats take on terrorists?
And its Frank Miller, I'm sure it'll be pretty good, even if it is as he puts it "a piece of propaganda"

If its Frank Miller, he'll probably have Batman moaning about his back for the whole thing, and shooting everyone to pieces, but it might still be good.

You haven't read All Star Batman and Robin have you. Frank Miller has lost what ever ability he had to write for superheroes a few years ago. All Star is the first Batman title I have ever dropped. If this thing even gets made, it will have to have some rave reviews before I would consider buying it. I really don't think that he was serious. He has inked 120 of 200 pages. That is a really long comic, and I don't think that he has had time to work on that plus all the other stuff he is putting out. Of course, that does explain the 3 month gap between issues of ASB&R.

From everything I've heard, this is a satire of extreme patriotism. Its really a big joke. It sounds like a good, but Miller needs to stay away from Batman for awhile. I think people would rather see him focus his efforts on "Sin City 2" and more original material.
