I am really not sure the "proper" home for this . . . BUT . . .
This film is part of the "required" background info/piece for anyone interested in the "source"/"root" material for Batman.
Bob Kane based his original Joker character very closely upon the main character in the 1928 film "The Man Who Laughs."

I edited your URL links and moved this Thread to Everything Else as it is not a Batman or even DC related item.
It has been credited as the inpiration for The Joker and early drawings Bob Kane did of The Joker look a lot like that picture.

Thanks for the URL edits. This is the only forum I use that requires them inserted that way. I forgot.
(Like I said, I wasn't sure how it qualified as a "collectible," though it IS available at this time in a decent copy.)
