Let me introduce myself.....

Hello,
I was and now am again a Huge Batman fan. And yes Huge can be taken two ways LOL
I am a Firefighter and Powerlifter. (Hence Nick name BULL) I hold the Bench Press Record in raw bench in the "American Firefighter Powerliting Assoc." For my county. 525Lbs.
I live in NJ just outside of NYC.
I'm not a youngster as I am pushing 40.
I Can't wait to turn 40 as it puts me in a new age division in powerlifting, I become a master lifter (The nice way of saying I'm old LOL!!!!)

I lost my older brother on 9/11 in the WTC. He was also a Firefighter.
I am looking for art of any DC hero at ground Zero but mostly Batman.
I have seen drawings of Superman pulling firefighters out of the rubble, That sort of art. it means a lot to me.

I like the Dark Batman. Like Batman Begins or the first movie with Keaton.
I can take or leave Robin but I like batman as the Hero on the edge.
Bending the rules just enough to stay on the right side.
You never know if he's going to get sucked in and be come like those he fights.
I am glad I found this board in my search of Batman stuff.
I used to get all the comics back in the 80's and 90's and just got burnt out after all the hype in th 94 with the movies turning campy again.
If you guys every want to chat about Batman, Firefighting, Powerlifting or even 9/11 I'm up for a PM I don't mind talking about 9/11 it makes me feel better and remember my brother.

hi welcome to the boards,i'm sorry about your brothert here was actually a thread to remeber those stuff but beyond locked it cuase somebody began a discucssion about religion so it was locked but next year may be the thread will reopen, anyway just visit the thread if you want.

First, I was confronting people who seem to think that being on one side of a war makes you evil, and that 4-year olds can some how choose between being taught that Americans are evil and being taught that they're good.

Second, welcome to the board.

Third, you already posted these questions at anouther thread, perhaps instead of posting them here you could have waited for responces there.

I'm sorry about you're brother, and I'm glad to meet you; I think fire-fighters are the greatest heroes we have, in real life or fiction.

Yes I know Razhwurz, But I tried to make this more of a statment then the questions I left in the other thread. I didn't mean to be redundent. but hey Spit happens. Anyhow thanx for the help you guys have given me so far I look forward to helping nad also picking your minds LOL

It's good to have you on the site, JasterBull. That's very interesting that you're both a firefighter and powerlifter; breaks the stereotype that all Batman fans are weak pencil-necks or built like the Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man.
