Well . . .
As some remember (from the Crown Vic thread), I am now the owner of a silver 09 Scion xB.
Though I was going to make the former car into a Batmobile, I am making the Crown Vic into a "delivery truck" of various guises.
The idea is to use large magnets and stickers on magnets to add different, interchangeable logos to the side (esp. the "c-pillar" of the xB. I already have a large "Railway Express Agency" one and will be soon getting an "REA Express"/"REA X" one made (those are two manifestations of a huge delivery/express company that died in 1975).
I was looking at my die-casts and remembered the Ertl Joker truck model from the 1989 film.
I then found/bought the "Bat-Pod" diecast from Toys R Us. The vehicle that came with the Bat-Pod is a Joker truck made from the "classic" Hot Wheels armoured truck mold, but painted in the colours of the tractor-trailer in TDK (with a change in side wording to make it more "kid-friendly" . Well, the result is a silver truck whose lines vaguely resemble my xB, enough that my son says it looks like "Daddy's Box."
That got me thinking . . .
I NEED some "Joker" emblems for the xB. I am hoping for something kinda-like the ones on the 1/43 Ertl truck. I'd be OK with something different, but somewhat similar. The "stipulation" is that it NEEDS to be put onto that white vinyl/magnetic material to make them removable. I don't want to make the permanent on the outside of my car.
Does anyone know a SOURCE?
-I'm not sure the local sign maker will feel comfortable making them for me using a trademarked character like the Joker . . .
(PS-> I named the Silver xB "Xpress Box."
Edit:
Oh, by "large," I mean about 10 inches side to side. I'd LOVE a 10x10 inch circle.
Sum Nox!
