I was looking for some information on the release date of the Dark Knight movie tie in book (July 1 release date) and found this (click to go to Amazon page):

Pretty nice art for the new batsuit. Keep your eyes peeled on Amazon for some more cover images as they are released.

What the hell?! When are the marketing people going to learn that this isn't a kid's movie!? I mean, what person brings a 7 year old to the theater to watch a movie about a haunted vigilante chacing after a psychopathic mass-murdering clown (and make no mistake, he will kill people... a lot of people)... I was traumatized enough when I saw movies about killers, and they weren't even clowns.
Sorry about the rant lol

Razhwurz, I STRONGLY agree.
People seem to think "Batman" = "kids"
However, THAT AIN'T TRUE!
The 2 Burton movies weren't, neither was Batman Begins.
I have 2 small kids (under 5), I let them see the 1966 show, which they think is hilarious. They also get to watch the "Scooby Doo meets Batman" shows/DVD.
I am scared that many BTAS episodes will give nightmares. I'll let them see them when in a year or 2.
They WILL NOT see the Burton movies or Batman Begins for AT LEAST a number of years.
I fear the "Almighty Dollar" is going to harm THIS Batman film series, like it derailed the 90s one.
(As much as I LOVE the fast-food toys, they SHOULD NOT be kid's meal prizes!)
Sum Nox!

Yeah, it seems to be the "funny books are for kids" mentality. I agree that TDK is NOT gonna be kid-safe & the items they are marketing toward them is weird. My nephews are freaking out over this movie & they're 5 and 9...I don't think they should be allowed to see it.
