Marcus I?m glad to see you posted some pics. I?ve got a few questions if you have the time to answer them
1). What?s up with the red tires? I seen these before and could never figure out what the problem was, why were these not black like the rest?
2). What year did the ?Bat Hubs? go away? I know the Bat Hubs versions are early (1966) and the non Bat ones later (1973) but I don?t know when the switch took place.
3). Why do you have so many of them? Do you sell them perhaps?
Nice collection

Very nice collection, thanks for posting some photos! Heh, I have the same thing with models: they might not be the best way to spend money, but I'm home safe every night |

Hey fellas here are some more pix of Corgis. The blue car is the prototype corgi sent me. As you can see by the pix the bottom is bare with no writing. The car is plastic, they make 2 before the metal ones are run.
In the background is the article corgi wrote about me and my collection. The Gold plated batmobile is one of 900 from the 2005 Corgi Toyfair...hard to get and apparently outrageously expensive...I was lucky at the time.
There is a picture of stripped 267 and one painted ready to assemble
I have some pix of Corgi Batcopters ,Batboats and other Corgi batmobiles and super heroes ....

Very cool, love all the collectibles. I have just started my collection and what has grabbed me the most is the Tyco 1:6 scale Batman Begins Batmobile "TUMBLER" I have looked on every site possable, maybe missed a few, any leads to how I can get my claws into one? Thanks Mitch |

That was a Wal-Mart exclusive in 2005. They were 119.00 to begin with but I don?t think they ever dropped below $99.00 when they were clearing them out. You will have to try eBay as Wal-Mart has long sold out of them. While it might make an awesome display piece it was not a great R/C car, despite how big and detailed it was. I never got one, but I did get the smaller Tyco R/C Tumbler/Batmobile that would do vertical jumps. My review of it is in the YTB Reviews board.

My Corgi Batmobile, which we got in Albany, NY in 1966 or so, was one of my favourite toys as a child! I wish I knew where it was!

Great collection Marcus. Really good. You should also either post the article that Congi wrote, and if it was from their website, if you can find it, post the link. |
