Hey BATGIRL!
Are you the person who did that great artwork posted a while back!? One pic showed the B&W art & the other showed it after coloring....nice!
I guess you missed my posting but I would like to feature that art in an article on my BAT-BLOG. Maybe do a short interview....whattya think?

I tell ya, Christmas starts earlier and earlier every year that by the time it actually hits, it's already exhausted. Some of those ornaments might be all right, but I would certainly hope they're made by a different company than the comic style and Batman Begins ones last year. Both the paint and sculpting were sloppy and miserable, and most of them shot down from their very steep prices to just a few bucks.
I would also hope no one buys those generic Teddy bears. They're pretty lame and I'm sure they just interchange them with different franchises by tossing on a different logoed shirt.

Sorry, I didn't notice pricing; the fact that they were there in the first place kind of threw me, as I was looking at Halloween stuff and there they were.
Sorry Cale, looks like about the same quality as last year. The animated stuff looks pretty good...a bit more like the GI Joe Sigma 6 than Matsuda's art style, but passable. The Superman stuff is terrible; walleyed, clunky, etc. |

The only christmas ornaments that ever have a decent paint job are hallmark. They've got a Batman ornament this year with Batman on the batsingnal, and the batsignal lights up. I'd be more willing to spend money on that.

A Reef is a place in the ocean for fish to live. 
A Wreath is for Christmas to hang on the door.

Here's the WB ornament I was referring to. I took some extra photos of my own, so maybe I'll get them in the archives soon.
And the actual BYTB database of X-Mas ornaments. I dunno where the heck the Hallmarks went though...

I really like that Hallmark one with Bats on the batsignal....cool!
I went to Target this morning ( Oct 6th ) to get some auto repair stuff. It was near the "holiday section" & I was kinda shocked to see xmas stuff out already!
But, I checked the isle & they didn't have 1 single Batman item. It was tons of stuff like Nascar, Scooby Doo, & Hello Kitty! NO BATMAN!

Targets down here are the same, not Batman Christmas items yet. I'm not sure why it suprised you to even see it. Christmas starts in September these days. Both Wal-Mart and Target had Christmas stuff out two or three weeks ago.
I can always tell Halloween is near when I see Christmas stuff in the stores :p
