Are you guys (Stateside) having these released? Batman came today and it's wonderful. I'm really looking forward to getting the rest of them.

It says a lot about DC and Marvel and their respective marketing departments - as the Marvel equivalent is actually about 5 years old now (it's up to issue 60 odd), but DC's outing begins now.

The figure is a heavy lead diecast job - this has got some weight with it. It looks great. The magazine (as you could expect) is a very basic overview of Batman, his history, his friends, enemies, gadgets etc (very similar to a mini-version of Scott Beatty's Ultimate Guide To......)

Lovely item.

DC Comics SuperHero Figurine Collection

Incidentally Cale (something that might be of interest to you and your quest for Batman adverts - there's some 94 Kenner stuff on the related links - although pick quality is only ok, not fantastic)

Once again . . .
I wish I lived in Britain (Scotland to be precise, but who would have guessed).

Those looks grea, but this is the first I've heard of them as well. They look like they're about the same size as the Corgi figures (1/18)?

I recall seeing the ad for them before, probably in Wizard last year. They were subscription based as I recall, one figure a month or so. I didn’t bother to sign up for them.

I've seen the first Batman one a couple of times on Ebay, usually going for $20 or more. While I think the thing looks cool as hell, even with the figure being made out of lead, I think that's a bit high. It's only, what, 5 inches?

I dunno, the more I think about it, the more I realize I'm just being silly. I'm just upset we don't get this in the States. sad(

Oh, sweet Jesus. It's the goddamn Batman.

The Batman figure was the first one - and it was £2.99 (which is the introductory price before the regular £6.99 releases).

Darkseid and Doomsday are "Special Editions" and they were £10.99 each.
