I grew up with Adam West, so he remains a sentimental favourite. Otherwise, it is a real tie between Kevin Conroy and Michael Keaton for first place, with Mr. Conroy having an edge because of his longevity. I would have loved to have seen him in a live-action venue.
Val Kilmer would have ranked No. 2, Christian Bale No. 3, George Clooney No. 4, and I do not know enough about Rino Romano to make a judgment one way or the other.

The point I'm trying to get across is that somtimes people go to far with the duality of the character. Imagine if Begins had been done with the same level of duality in The Batman; Those moments you felt for Bruce when he was acting like a plaboy billionare yet realised he was disgracing his fathers name and destroying his life a Bruce Wayne would be removed, and then the audience would be less sympithetic for the character. But of coarse the movie still would have been ruined if they removed the "billionare playboy" role.
What made the character perfect in Begins was the fact that you could still see who Bruce really was while he was acting. And because of that we felt that stab in the heart when Rachel says, "It's not who you are undreneath, it's what you do that defines you.", If they seperated him into two characters he would be ruined.
Never start with the head; the victim gets all fuzzy!

i like all the batmans except george clooney and adam west. im sorry, but i just cant get into the 60's batman, i was born in the 90's.
