PLOT:
Staring into the pasty white face of the Clown Prince of Crime, Barbara Gordon realizes that she is no longer afraid of the man that put her in that wheelchair. Keeping her wits about her she is able to convince the Joker that she is nothing more than a harmless techie trying to start up her own business in Platinum Flats. By the time the police arrive and scare off the Joker he still hasn't recognized the daughter of Jim Gordon and he leaves without even attempting to inflict any harm upon Barbara.

When the police question Barbara she is able to convince them of the same thing. They find the body of the officer Joker killed and stole his policeman's outfit from stuffed into the trunk of his own police car and Barbara begins to feel guilty . With the Joker's involvement in the Silicon Syndicate, Barbara decides she needs to call in her secret backup- Calculator.

The Birds arrive in Wyoming and track down Calculator in a run-down motel. There they introduce Infinity as Oracle (to maintain Barbara's anonymity) and tell Calculator that he's going to call together the Syndicate under the guise of wanting to call a truce. Calculator agrees and contacts the Visionary notifying him that he is with the Birds.

Visionary dispatches the Syndicate to the airport for a meet-up between Calculator and the Birds. Driving to the airport it finally dawns on the Joker that he was just face to face with Commissioner Gordon's daughter. Joker makes a U-Turn and heads back towards Barbara wondering just how much postage would be to mail her severed head back to dear old dad.
